538ST: From the sun kissed shores of British Columbia comes a new wave of music called Surf-Hop, created by the energetic brothers duo Sam and Jake Cooke. Their groovy tunes are stylistically-inclusive and upbeat, melding (hip-hop, nu-funk, and neo-soul) for a refreshing swirl of vintage and modern sounds. THE NOMADS: Based out of Kelowna BC, The Nomads began as a passion project between front man, James Gass and bassist, Kevin Inch, back in the summer of 2020. They have since released an indie pop single, “Whitney” and their debut EP “Time” in the spring of 2022. “Whitney” and “Time” showcase upbeat grooves and catchy lyrics layered with 70s style guitars.
